This cache is meant to be relatively easy to find, but due to the lack of suitable cover to hide a cache of this size it was a bit harder, so we are going to help out significantly. First, turn onto the Industrial Park Road by the Bank. On your left side you will see a narrow strip of land between the pond and a thin strip of woods. Follow this narrow strip as if you were walking out toward the welcome to New Lisbon Sign. On your left side prior to the stream you will see a raised dirt bank. Enter woods just before That bank and then toward the center along the back of the rise you will find the cache. Use the clue for more help if needed.
This cache is the reincarnation of the original and wildly popular "Wake up and smell the peanut butter in Juneau County" cache which was originally placed by 3Polar many years ago. The property the original cache was placed on was unexpectedly cleared by the City of New Lisbon and the cache was lost, and then "Archived". The Troop was granted permission by the original owner to revive both the Juneau County & Monroe County entries in the "Peanut Butter Series" which we have done, with a slight tweek. The caches are now full size camouflaged peanut butter jars and are even closer to the I90/94 exit ramps, making these both close enough and large enough to act as trackable and swag swaps for passengers heading East and West along the Interstate. As with most "Trackable/Bug Swap" caches, the old saying applies, "if you take a bug, try to leave a bug" and while this is always recommended it is not a requirement. While this is not an extremely "muggle heavy" area, passers by may be curious so try to be somewhat stealthy. The Troop has high hopes for this cache bringing in as much traffic as the original, and we will maiintain for as long as we are able. Good luck to all cachers and please report any issues. T97
