Being totally inspired by Fjord's idea of starting a rest stop for travel bugs, I decided that since I had the "Key To The Nutria" what better time to do it. Along with the key, I have also included a couple of others that I have been holding on to… One is "Flik" the ant on his leaf, another is "Clifford the (little) red dog" and the last is "Grampa The Vampa"
The idea is that you exchange a bug for another bug… When a bug makes his (or her) way into the B&B, it will (hopefully) get to relax and share stories of adventure and travel with other travel bugs…
Much like Fjord's Hotel, there are rules to go by… there must be a minimum of four bugs in the cache at one time… if you take one you must leave one unless there are more than four you may take a bug without leaving one… You may also just drop off a bug if you wish… The main rule is if you exchange a bug, (in, out or both) you must check in and record your visit in the logbook and online.
Just a side note, there are a couple of things to be aware of while looking for this cache… First, there are LOTS of aliens around on weekends, early morning and early evenings. Second, watch your step as this time of year there are lots of leaves on the ground covering branches which makes it easy to twist your ankle… Lastly, if you visit this cache in the late afternoon, WATCH THE STOP SIGN ON THE WAY OUT OF THERE!!! I dented the door of my truck when the mirror hit the post it was on (the sun was in my eyes).
