Geocache Description:

FTF CONGRATS!

appalachiancachin

AND THANK YOU

FOR STARTING WITH

A FAVE!

Witch's Hollow bewitching requirements are bestowed upon a coven from Cave City near Cushman, Arkansas; a coven that lays claim to a rich heritage... of scaring the socks off folks.  These witches practice their black magic in the abandoned houses in this village. Over the years several of their husbands have disappeared.  They still haunt the village and neighborhoods today; while sights of their disturbing ghosts have been frequently reported off Sandtown Road as they glide along the dirt road. Rumor has it though, that visitors will never find Witches Hollow without the guidance of a local named George...  and in case you missed it, from Shakespeare...

Song of the Witches: “Double, double toil and trouble” by Shakespeare from MacBeth.

Double, double toil and trouble;
Fire burn and caldron bubble.
Fillet of a fenny snake,
In the caldron boil and bake;
Eye of newt and toe of frog,
Wool of bat and tongue of dog,
Adder's fork and blind-worm's sting,
Lizard's leg and howlet's wing,
For a charm of powerful trouble,
Like a hell-broth boil and bubble.

Double, double toil and trouble;
Fire burn and caldron bubble.
Cool it with a baboon's blood,
Then the charm is firm and good.

Macbeth: IV.i 10-19; 35-38

Now, let's get down to the Caching Business:

We have a 5" tethered pill bottle here at GZ, let's get on it.

How do we get there:

From the referenced parking lot and foot path, take the dry streambed east.  If the water is up, you may reconsider your sojourn today.  The streambed is rough and rock-strewn, appropriate footwear is advised.

What are we looking for:

BYOP!

You are looking for a tethered Double-Container with bagged log.  The log is zippy bagged and placed in its own "O" Ring equipped small pill bottle container, which is then placed in a 5.5" tall x2.25" in diameter heavy duty tethered pill bottle container. The tether is either a small wire cable or nylon covered steel cable.

There it is, waiting for you... tethered, a roped steer, near the water, in a private hidey hole... maybe a Jet Alert aircraft's bomb shelter... now go get it... snag it.

No neon lights or caliopes on this one.

Good Luck Ya'll!
