Gertrude O'Cache was a force to be reckoned with. Born in the small town of Mount Albert in the mid-1800s, she was known for her voracious appetite and her ability to produce children at an alarming rate.
It was said that Gertrude could eat a whole cow in one sitting, and her husband was always on the lookout for new and exotic spices to season her meals. But nothing could prepare him for the shock when she gave birth to 31 babies in total. The town was in awe of Gertrude's ability to pop out so many babies and her husband was always running out of space for them all.
As the babies grew, so did the town's economy. The O'Cache household was like a never-ending buffet, and everyone wanted a taste. People would come from far and wide just to catch a glimpse of Gertrude's enormous family. The local merchants thrived as the family needed to purchase large amounts of groceries, clothing and other supplies to feed and clothe the growing family.
Gertrude's children were always up for a good laugh and they would often put on comical skits and plays to entertain the town. They were also known for their love of pranks, and it was not uncommon to see them running around the streets with flour on their faces, pretending to be ghosts.
Despite the chaos that followed her everywhere she went, Gertrude was a loving and devoted mother who always put her children first. She was a true hero in the eyes of the town, and her enormous family will always be remembered for their role in saving the town's economy.
