Geocache Description:

This cache is located at one of the Parkville railway crossings, and close by is the location of the old Parkville Railway station, which is non-existent now, except for the sign. Trains still travel through the village on a daily basis, but do not stop, instead, they mostly carry coal, travelling between coal mines and the Port of Newcastle.

This village is quiet but located in the heart of the Upper Hunter Valley, and close to the 'Horse capital' - Scone. If you travel here at the right time, you may catch the odd rodeo, horse racing, campdrafting or even the Horse Festival, so why not stop by and take a look and explore the beautiful country side and locations around the Upper Hunter!

This is our first cache that we have hidden. After hunting and finding over 40 caches, we decide to try our own luck at hiding some too!

The cache is small, so it could be anywhere! Make sure you look all over, but also stay aware of your surroundings as next to a roadway and active train tracks, which are usually busy. Try to aviod muggles around .
