SideTracked - Royal Victoria

Royal Victoria Station was opened in 1994 and named after the nearby Royal Victoria Dock. A stretch of line was first opened here in 1855 when the Eastern Counties and Thames Junction Railway had to divert its line to Woolwich around the new dock. There was never a station here until the DLR arrived.
