There is no rain/snow date for this event. Please dress accordingly. We will attempt to clean up regardless of rain, snow, sleet or hail.
The purpose of this event is to help clean up the parking lot and park area. Pease note: we will not be approaching the railroad tracks behind GZ, we will be staying within the park and parking lot area.
I will be located at the posted coordinates, and will have a logbook for individuals to sign into if they wish. There will not be any door prizes or refreshments.
The terrain ranged from flat, paved parking lot to grassy areas with some moderate ditches. I am posting the terrain as a 2 because the lot itself is wheelchair accessible, however the terrain could be rated higher depending on the area you choose to clean, and there could be ice/snow on the ground.
I will have garbage bags and gloves available, although you may wish to bring your own, or bring winter mittens or gloves instead. You may also want to bring your own trash grabber, beverages, refreshments and warm clothing as these items will not be supplied. Depending on the weather, waterproof footwear may be a great idea. There seems to be some nearby caches and/or AL stages for those looking for something to do as they visit the area.
Trash will be collected and placed in the bins near GZ.
