I'm amazed that I have found 20,000 caches! My first cache was with NW Climber on 1/29/2001 and it was.....the Ape cache! I had no idea what I was doing! When NWC and I went hiking, we would have to stop at a location and look for some tupperware in the woods.
For other milestone caches, I've found traditionals, mystery caches, virtuals and an earthcache. I recently decided to host an event for the 20,000th!
I hope to be at 20,000 on 21 February 2023. If I get to this milestone before 21 February, I"ll get a multi (another cache type I need for milestone)! Don't worry, we'll still have a celebratory event!
Never thought I would have this many caches! I remember talking to other cachers over the years and they had 5000, 10,000, 15,000 and more. I was in awe and just never imagined I would get to this milesone!
