Welcome to the #team12th Trail; a series of 12 caches plus a bonus designed to introduce our scouts and the local community to the joys of geocaching. The trail takes you through the local streets, parks and woods of Morley and Churwell, collecting a variety of different caches and introducing novices to how this all works. All the caches are reasonably simple to locate and we have given clear hints to help you find them. The route isn't quite circular BUT the bonus cache is near the finish!
Before you set out, make sure you have a pen, tweezers and a notebook.
This first cache is dedicated to our Beavers, currently our youngest scouts, also known as the blue ningas! Use the suggested waypoint for parking to find the entrance to the field, which we call "Stonehenge". It can be a little bit muddy at times so "be prepared".
When you find the cache, remember to collect the bonus number, you will need this later on.
The cache is covered with "stickoflage" - this is geocache speak for twigs and sticks! We have left some scout badges in the box for you to collect or swap.
Please make sure you leave the cache carefully hidden.
