Nel 1967 i Padri gesuiti fondarono la parrocchia ai Bassi e la condussero sino al 1993. La parrocchia iniziò le sue attività utilizzando una chiesa provvisoria prefabbricata: “La Baracca“. Definito nel 1977 il progetto per la costruzione della nuova Chiesa, essa fu realizzata dall'ingegner Giancarlo Spadoni, con la collaborazione del geometra Angelo Bertolini. La chiesa fu consacrata nel giugno del 1982.

In 1967 the Jesuit Fathers founded the parish in Bassi and led it until 1993. The parish began its activities using a temporary prefabricated church: "La Baracca". Once the project for the construction of the new church was defined in 1977, it was built by the engineer Giancarlo Spadoni, with the collaboration of the surveyor Angelo Bertolini. The church was consecrated in June 1982.
