Ag Series: Losing Ground

These caches are located on private property and permission has been given at each location to place the cache. Please respect owners property, no night caching.
Please do not climb on fence. If cache pops into pasture go through gate to retrieve.
Indiana is losing farm ground very quickly to housing subdivision and warehouses.
Since 1950 Indiana has lost 4,688,581 acres of prime farmland to housing subdivisions and warehouses which seem to be popping up like dandelions. In this area alone we have lost hundreds of acres of farmland to housing subdivisions. It will be interesting to see the changes future generations will have to make within the agriculture industy to adapt to the ever growing population and demand for farm ground.
This cache is located at a small hobby farm where the owners raise and care for a few donkeys and horses. These animals have a pasture to graze and exercise in plus a barn that protects them from bad weather. The donkeys and horses have fresh water to drink and are given grain and hay to eat. The animals here enjoy spending their days cared for by their owners, going on rides, and adventures to the 4-H fair.
