As Hawk Hollow and I walked toward this hiding spot, we spied some Mourning Doves on the ground that then flew up into a tree.
This trail is where we started geocaching, searching for 'Other Side of the Creek' GC17VXY. This was before we had a handheld gpsr or an app on a cell phone. We set off into the woods carrying our TomTom, which wasn't very effective off road! We wandered around a lot on that hot August day, but we eventually made the find.
You are looking for a small-sized cache. Before retrieving the container, please take note of the set up, and replace as found.
If your approach is from the east along the creek and through pricker bushes, wondering why anyone would hide a cache there, we didn't. If you follow the 10 foot wide path and approach from the west, you will be fine.
