Let me preface this cache with an apology. It was not my intention to make this a challenging cache, however, when the opportunity presented itself, I had to take it. This is a difficult, but very rewarding cache, as reflected by the D/T combination. Please review the full cache page before venturing to the posted coordinates. This cache is not for everyone.

Welcome to Morris Park, home to the Celebration of Lights, disc golf, and of course, Geocaching! Located in this expansive park are two of the finest disc golf courses on the east coast. Both the Seth Burton Memorial and Orange Crush courses offer technical and challenging holes for players of all skill levels.
To complete this wherigo and find the geocache, you will need to partake in one of my many hobbies and play a round of disc golf. This wherigo will take you on a tour of Morris Park's Orange Crush course, a challenging 18-hole adventure with narrow fairways and steep elevation changes. Along the way, you'll need to answer questions about each hole, all of which can be answered using the small signs at either tee-off pad. Once complete, the wherigo will provide coordinates to this geocache's final location, which is located somewhere in the park.
The total hike for this cache is around three miles. Don't let this short distance fool you; spread across those three miles is nearly 1,000 feet in elevation change. Unfortunately due to proximity issues with other caches, the final is not located near hole #18 (as I would have preferred) but rather a short walk away from the parking. At the final, you are searching for a 50-cal ammo can container with a unique custom log book. I suspect it will take most geocachers about two hours to complete this cache, assuming you don't throw a disc into the thicket and then search to find it for a half hour (but then again, who has ever done that? Certainly not me).
I look forward to hearing about your adventure and I hope you enjoy one of my favorite disc golf courses in the area. If you feel so inclined, mention the number of your favorite hole in your log! For me, I love hole #11. As always, if you have any problems (or just want to complain) you can always message me via my geocaching profile. Wherigos can be buggy sometimes, and I'm happy to help should you encounter any issues. Thanks and happy caching.
About Wherigo Caches
CLICK HERE to download the wherigo and start your adventure!
Wherigo is a platform that allows you to build location-based GPS experiences on your computer and play them in the real world. Think Zork, Secret of Monkey Island, or Myst, but in the park around the corner, or on the beach during your family vacation. Rather than clicking the mouse and selecting a location to move your character, you actually walk from one location to the next to advance the story.
To play this Wherigo cartridge you will need a smartphone device capable of running Wherigos. This cartridge is very simple and runs similarly to an adventure lab. I suggest playing this wherigo on a smart device as a GPS unit may encounter glitches and won't get the full effect. If you have access to multiple devices I would recommend running the cartridge on as many of them as possible in case one crashes or the battery dies. This wherigo was tested on an iPhone and worked perfectly. Also, I highly recommend taking pictures of all the tee-pad signs. If your wherigo does crash for whatever reason, assuming you are still within the boundaries of Morris Park, you can reenter your answers without revisiting each stage.
