There is a fabulous Park, on my way home from work; that not many people realize is there. Found the spot while out walking. Realized there was only one other Cache container in the area figured why the heck not😜
A lot of birding to be done in this area. There is a paved walking trail along with some natural flat-ish nature trails back farther behind the building inside the gate. You're looking for a regular size cylinder container with a screw on lid. I had to rehide this one after it got muggled. If you can't find it, have a seat and admire the view anyway 😁. I would personally bring a pair of binoculars and a blanket!
There is a FTF token and Plenty of room for trackables and small trade items. No night caching.
The area behind the fence and gate belong to the Cleveland Lakefront Nature Preserve coltroled by the CLE Port Authority. The nature preserve is an 88-acre man-made peninsula that has become a haven for diverse species of migratory birds, butterflies and animals. The Port Authority manages this unique urban green spaqce, fromerly knopwn as Dike14, and opened it to the public in Feburary 2012.It is open daily during daylight hrs and has 2.5 miles of trail. It is intended for walking, observing nature, research and education.
