Lake Altman is the larges geographic feature within the SWA Greenway Trail System. However, it is not a naturally occurring lake. The lake was dredged up to use the sediment to bury waste in Palm Beach County's landfills. This cache is in a clearing next to Lake Altman, with a great view of Renewable Energy Facility 2 and the SWA Class III Landfill.
