I’ve been to Johnson’s Pasture many times and seen small trails running off to places unknown but always had another agenda and just passed them by. Lately I’ve decided to find out where some of them go.
In this case I saw a trail running up the side of a hill by the intersection of Gale Motorway and Johnson Pasture Road. I took the trail up and found nice views and a spot for a lock and lock container. Coming back down was harder than going up but I had my hiking stick and that helped a lot. Wear good shoes!
I went up at the trailhead coordinates. An alternative way up is to the right of the bench near the end of Burbank Motorway. You'll end up walking about the same distance either way.
No real cacher goes hunting without a pen so no “I forgot my pen” logs will be accepted. Any logs without a matching signature will be deleted. FTF gets a buck.
