Cache number 4 in our series around Hindhead and surrounding areas which we are expanding over time taking in some beautiful scenery and countryside. Small micro cache hidden niceley in a large pine tree just off the path overlooking the punchbowl and the valley below. Look about head height and have a reach in! little ones wont be able to reach this so have reflected that in the difficulty. Many an afternoon has been spent wandering round and taking in the views. Also why not sit and take in the beautiful view or carry on and have a lovely walk around this beautiful part of the countryside. Many a sunny day has been enjoyed here either riding our bikes or having a picnic. Many thanks to Parmstro and Matt the head ranger at the national trust for your assistance. The National Trust do an amazing job looking after this piece of land and it has made it all the better now the tunnel is open. A lot of this area has now been returned to nature. Its an awesome spot to take in a walk, spot of birdwatching or even planespotting, espcially when the Heathrow and Gatwick flight paths are over the top.
Please ensure that cache is returned to the same place and covered back up thank you. BRING YOUR OWN PEN!
GEOCACHING ON NATIONAL TRUST LAND IS DONE SO AT YOUR OWN RISK PLEASE RESPECT ALL PATHS AND OTHER USERS AT ALL TIMES :-)
Happy Caching :-)
