I feel it again. The pull to the event - Kylo Ren (sort of)
May 4 is considered a holiday by many Star Wars fans and geocachers to celebrate the franchise's film series, books and culture each year. The date was chosen for the easy pun on the catchphrase "May the Force be with you" - "May the Fourth be with you". Even though the holiday was not actually created or declared by Lucasfilm, many fans across the world choose to celebrate the holiday.
So, come on down to Buffalo Wild Wings on Route 110 in Farmingdale to celebrate Star Wars Day geocaching-style! We have reserved the party room in the back and will be hanging out from 5PM until 8PM! You do not have to purchase anything to attend this event and everyone who signs the log book gets at least one raffle ticket. If you do wish to get food and drinks at this event though, you are responsible for your own purchases.
This will be the 6th time we are doing this at B-Dubs and certain things have been a success in the past (so they tell me), so let's bring them back again:
RAFFLES: There will be some nice Star Wars and Geocaching themed items. You do not have to be present to win, you just need to sign the log book!
LIGHTSABERS: The weapon of a Jedi, an elegant weapon of a more civilized age. Get your picture taken with a lightsaber and maybe go home with one too!
GEOCOINS: There will be geocoins available for purchase, which are trackable at www.geocaching.com. There will be a limited number of coins available this year, so if you want to reserve one, please note that in your "Will Attend" log. Coins are $14 each and will be made available on a first-come, first-served basis.

This year's geocoin is based on the lightsaber of Kylo Ren. The actual quote from the movie is: Forgive Me. I feel it again. The pull to the light.
