Barnet multi-CATche in honour of a special local feline!
I've lived in Barnet my whole life and for most of that life I've always been bemused by a small grey cat that spends every day sat outside the shops watching the world go by! This cat became a local treasure and after her passing in 2019 local residents raised funds for a memorial sculpture to be placed in her honour.
The first stage of this cache takes you to the memorial, sculpted by John Somerville and unveiled in January 2023.

Please note that the memorial is inside the Spires shopping centre, which is open 9am-6pm Monday-Saturday, 11am-5pm on Sundays. The cache is only a short walk away and you will need to cross at the zebra-crossing. The cache is at a suitable height for wheelchair users. Tweezers needed to sign log. Please reseal the cache tightly to avoid water damage.
