During the Eocene period, approximate 50 million years ago, the sedimentary layers which formed Chuckanut sandstone were deposited. Explore these boulders along with views of the bay on your way to one of Bow's fine establishments for a meal or a drink! If you look closely, you may see one of the many fossils which can be found in the Chuckanut formation, but please leave fossils,and geocaches, where they are for others to enjoy! If you are driving from the north, parking is available approximately 100 feet both north and south of the cache. If you are approaching from the south, parking is just north of the cache across the street and across from the private driveway. Please be careful to pull totally off the street.
