A sign at Brush Creek Falls reads: "Beginning as a placid, meandering stream in Princeton, Brush Creek here enters a narrow 400' deep canyon, throws itself over 33' falls and join the Bluestone River.
"Known for its large and picturesque falls, scenic beauty, wildflowers and habitat for neotropical migrants, this area of the park also has a rich industrial history. The site was used for grist and woolen mills as early as 1851 and continuing until about 1909. The falls trail may have been the wagon road serving the mill and later certainly became the narrow-guage railroad bed used by the Bluestone Land & Lumber Company to haul logs to the sawmill at Gardener (near exit 14 on I-77) from 1907 - 1916. A loging camp was situated downstream of the falls."
The cache is an ammo can with plenty of swag but no FTF award.
