Geocache Description:

Small park at the south of the Perth. Enjoy the sunset at the little hills, watch the birds over watering tower.

Below copied from City of South Perth:

During warmer months, birds can be found searching for water in places that put them in harms way, including drains, pet water bowls and reticulation. Recognising this, the City installed six 4.5 metre tall structures in parks, each holding up to 20 litres of fresh drinking water.

Bird water stations are located at Ryrie Reserve, Goss Reserve, Salter Point Lagoon and Collier Park to provide a consistent water supply.

The threatened Forest Red-tailed Black Cockatoo is just one species the City hopes to help protect with the new water stations.
