Anderwood - The perfect spot to park up and enjoy a picnic surrounded by woodland and wildlife.
Nestled in the trees, this shady spot is the perfect place to park up and enjoy a picnic whilst listening to the sounds of woodland wildlife all around.
You will find our Geocache a short walk from the Anderwood carpark. Serviced by toilets and a picnic area, this is the perfect spot for families to head out on a Geocache adventure. At the time of writing (Feb 2023) the cache is stuffed full of treasures for children so please bring your own treasures to replace any that you take. There is also a second cache VERY nearby.
The walk is flat and straight and within beautiful New Forest trees. The paths are mostly dry unless you are deep into a wet winter where you may need to go through some boggy patches. You may even be lucky enough to see a white deer - we have!
This cache is on Forestry England land and has been placed in accordance with the GAGB – Forestry England Agreement. As part of this Agreement, it is not permitted to seek the cache during the hours of darkness
