Well, well, well.....we seem to be back in familiar territory. For this month's cachemore theme, my second hobby, I struggled to come up with a cache relating to one of my many other hobies. This cache is in reference to, as you may have guessed, AVIATION! Hmm, or maybe my second hobby is really placing geocaches near local airports..... As always, there is no need to enter or cross the chain link fence that surrounds the perimeter of the airport.
This cache is located in a great plane spotting location near the North Central WV Regional Airport. I was even able to spot a few planes departing while placing the cache. A common hobby for aviation enthusiasts is sitting near airports and watching planes takeoff and land and even capturing pictures and videos of them. Some airports even have dedicated viewing areas just for plane spotting. Although this location isn't an official plane spotting location, it is often utilized by enthusiasts for that purpose.
