This is the first cache in a planned series that pays tribute to the old television show Invader Zim.
Cache should be easy to find but very difficult to retrieve. You will be out in the open entirely and people will be able to see whether you know it or not for a large portion of the day.
Invader Zim was a dark comedy television show that aired on Nickelodeon for two seasons.
The show revolves around Zim, an extraterrestrial from the planet Irk, and his mission to take over Earth and enslave the human race. Zim is accompanied by his sidekick, a defective robot named Gir, who often foils Zim’s plans to rule planet Earth. In an effort to understand more about how humans behave, Zim attends a local school.
Throughout the show, Zim and Gir encounter Dib (a young boy who loves the paranormal and tries to expose Zim and his plans), Gaz (Dib’s scary sister), Professor Membrane (a famous scientist and father to Dib and Ga), Ms. Bitters (Zim and Dib’s haggish-like teacher) and the All Mighty Tallest (Irken leaders).
Despite being cancelled in 2002, Invader Zim has grown in popularity over the years and has been listed as one of Nickelodeon's best shows according to various magazines.
In August 2019, Invader Zim: Enter the Florpus, a tv-film based on the series, premiered on Netflix.
