This is the site of where the Boors Plains Methodist Church was located. It was first opened in 1873 and finally closed in 1967. It consisted of three rooms – the church, the Boor's Plains School room & a third room used for Sunday School or celebration of community's event. All that is left today is a a memorial cairn for the former church site.
