A lovely little Lake Wakatipu beach to enjoy, and one where you can actually get a park close by. It's a great place to chill out, skim some stones, or set off in your kayak. Today there were scuba divers practising their skills here. I learned to water ski off this beach, and in those days we didn't use wetsuits, even although the water in the lake is quite cold.
There is a sign near the pier with fishing information: all anglers require a current sports fishing licence.
