That a thing made by hand, the work and thought of its craftsmen, can endure much longer than its makers, through centuries, has always filled me with wonder. Sometimes in libraries of olde, I am in awe when looking at a finely wrought page from a medieval illuminated manuscript toiled over by a nameless monk with a primitive tool. Every big castle was once started with a single block, therefore despise no small beginnings. A little step taken every day builds up the hope of greater accomplishments.
