The outcome of a February 2023 Geocaching 101 event for local kids to learn about geocaching, this cache is hidden at a crossing of the Blockston Branch Stream inside Adkins Arboretum, a 400-acre native garden and plant preserve located in the Chesapeake Bay region. While here, enjoy our 5-mile trail system along meadow, forest, wetland, and stream habitats. Bikes, picnicking, and dogs on leashes are allowed. Children will enjoy the Gnome Home, wigwams, and Play Garden.
The Arboretum's Visitor Center is open Tuesday through Saturday from 10 am to 4 pm and Sunday from noon to 4pm. Our grounds are open from sunrise to sunset. Should you arrive before our gates are unlocked, feel free to park outside and walk in.
