When we first moved to the area, one of the first caches we did was near Wirz park and had us falling in love with the area. That cache has since been archived but we're hoping this one will inspire others to check out the Casselberry Greenway Trail and the wonderful nature that's tucked away on this urban path. We've seen all sorts of wildlife here, so while you're caching, keep your eyes peeled for all sorts of wonderful birds.
This one is the first in what we hope will be a series of difficult mystery caches dedicated to solving challenging riddles, puzzles and ciphers. Some of our favorite caches have involved painstaking ciphers which could take hours of research and days to decode, followed by an even more painstaking hunt through severe bushwhacking territory to find old, rusty ammo cans. This one isn't an ammo can, and it isn't in bushwhacking territory, but the cipher and difficulty of finding the cache should leave you with that same feeling of extreme satisfaction when you finally crack the code and make the find.
THE CACHE IS NOT AT THE POSTED COORDINATES ABOVE. If you head there you'll go for a swim and find nothing. Instead, to find this cache, you'll have to decode the cipher below which will lead you to the corrected coordinates. It will likely be tough and finding the cache itself might be ever tougher, as it's hidden in plain sight but in a manner most unusual. It's rather devious and will present quite the challenge but adawgx and I enjoy the caches that screw with people.
