This CITO is one clean-up available to attend for which you may earn the e-Souvenir for the 2023 CITO Season 1 that ends on May 31. This is version II of a CITO last Spring, also on Bette Ann Drive. There now seems to be more trash than ever.
Date: Saturday April 1, 2023
Time: 9:30 - 10:30 a.m.
Bring: Safety fluorescent vest (recommended);
Picker-upper tool, or similar;
Water bottle;
Sun block; and repellent, as you choose;
Garden, or other tougher, gloves.
Provided: Trash bags;
Hand cleaner;
Snacks.
Parking: A couple of pull-over spots are available at posted coordinates off Bette Ann Drive. There are 7 streets that branch off Bette Ann Drive to its East: (North to South) Province, Fairway, Tree, Dave, Bruce, Lucille, Balin.
Check-In Required: Once you check-in at coordinates and are given your items, you may stay parked at coordinates, or pull into the street of your choice to park, subject to signs. Optional sign-in Logbook will be available.
CITO section: You may choose to do your CITO anywhere on Bette Ann Drive. When you are done with CITO, please leave the tied bag on the ground of the Western side of Bette Anne Drive (which is parallel to Hwy 97 Nicolls Road). Arrangements have been made with the City workers to pick up at their schedule. Thank you for volunteering to help clean up our community.
E-Souvenir: Once you e-log your CITO attendance, a 2023 CITO Season 1 will post to your list. There will be a second different one for Season 2 in the Fall of 2023.
