This cache is a camoed bison off the beaten path. It is only available dawn to dusk, NO after dark caching!

This cache is named in honor of one of my more memorable caching adventures. The following story has nothing to do with this particular cache.
I had arrived in Avignon, France earlier in the day. I had mentioned to my daughter that I wanted to go out and see the town that evening, it was around 10:00. As we were walking around and I thought it would be neat to see if I could find any caches. Without any cell service, I was limited in my options. I saw a cache was located by the transit station, and my daughter, having arrived at that station earlier in the day, told me I would be able to connect to their Wi-Fi to get the cache description.
After getting the necessary info, we began our search. Our quest took us away from the station, down the side of a nearby building along a security fence. As we were looking, a gate rolls open, a car drives through, and a police officer gets out and asks what we were doing. My daughter says that we were geocaching. "What, you need cash"? Did I mention we were in France? In less than a minute, four more officers arrive on foot. After a bit of trying to explain what we were doing, one of the officers, in broken english, finally expressed understanding, and knowledge of something of the sort possibly being in the area we were searching. He got a flashlight out of his car and began assisting in the search of the area. Did they truly believe us, or were they looking for something dangerous that we may have planted near the transit station? I later discovered that the fence surrounded the Transit Police Station.
As we left the area, we had an "escort" of the foot patrol officers. They apparently wanted to make sure we left the area. Definitely a night to remember!
As of the writing for this story, "Gare Avignon Centre"
GC8KC50 was disabled due to construction of a new parking facility for the station. It is now back in operation.

Congratulations to BethKatzPA for again being FTF on my caches. Sadly, her streak ends today as another person was first on another cache of mine that was published this day, and found about the same time as this one.
