I planted the first Alphabet Cache 12 years ago (was published on 1/4/09). I was considering archiving the series but decided to put out another one instead. As with the first Alphabet Series, there are 4 or 5 caches in a given location, will require a hike of at least 1 mile (no more than 2) to find all the caches, and at least 1 of the caches (sometimes maybe more) will be a Mystery cache. Each cache will contain a number, which is used to calculate the coordinates of the Mystery cache and the grand final (Total Alphabet – Redux). Remember to record all the numbers.
This fifth Redux series contains 4 caches, S, T, U, and V. Like the original S-V series Alphabet S-V Redux are all along a Columbia path, although a different one. The suggested parking is (N39 11.933, W076 49.377), at the end of Tamar Drive; however, the path of interest can be reached from many locations in the neighborhood.
Alphabet T (Turtle) is approximately 20~30 ft off the trail. The container is a small, 2”x1” pill bottle.
