After the event in 2019, I had expected to do it annually, but Covid interfered. Barring an outbreak of something else, I will host a second meeting. The location is at the same eatery, where there is plenty of parking outside and seating inside. Still no maypole…but perhaps nobody will understand the reference to a small-town tradition from my my youth.
I will be sending trackables to Northern Scotland soon after the event. If anyone has TBs they want to include in the box, bring them. Optionally, there will be other trackables just to trade.
Also, I will be giving away an unactivated travel bug to each family. While the recipients may choose to name, activate and release the travel bug as is traditional, there is an alternative use. That is, to use the TB to document the geocaching travels of the holder. This is done by activating the TB as usual, to get it in the personal inventory, then visit it to each cache as found. The travels will be automatically mapped on the home page of the trackable.
I hope to see old friends as well at the many new cachers who have finding my containers. Looking forward to it.
