Geocache Description:

Kampung Tunku was established as a housing cooperative for civil servants on March 2 1966.  It was originally named Kampung Tunku Abdul Rahman (after Malaysia's first Prime Minister). As such, the area is home to many retired government workers, former military personnel and illustrious personalities (such as the late National Laureate Usman Awang). For old-time residents, it is known as SS1, and one of the oldest neighbourhoods in town.

Cache is located very close to the Kampung Tunku monument.

Take time to read the late Tunku's message to all Malaysians, inscribed on a plaque at the monument, while searching
for the cache.

Thank you Ekious, Ramakristan and manateess for the FPs!
