Many years ago, the Rt. 42 Travel Bug Hotel was hidden a few miles south on Route 42. It enjoyed a secluded hiding spot and a bit of bushwhacking to reach, but was a popular tourist spot for wayward travel bugs. Then...the land was purchased by someone new, and the hotel had to shut its doors due to new management of the property. And, just like that, travel bugs were homeless...
But it's a new day and a new year and these days everything retro is cool. And so it is with the RETURN of the Rt. 42 Travel Bug hotel!! While the new location is decidedly more urban (ok, barely) than the last, the container is just as accommodating for many travel bugs, so feel free to trade some out when you visit. Enjoy our spacious living quarters and well-lit parking lot. Conveniently located near several shopping locations, as well as a dentist, Amish restaurant, and police station. We're sure you'll have a pleasant visit, but hope you're able to move on soon!
Please respect the hiding spot and keep things looking natural in order for this to stay well-hidden--this is basically a park and grab, so feel free to pull right up to our front door to keep yourself inconspicuous. Several TBs will be taking up residence here when our doors open (so sorry for the delay in changing our location!), so feel free to move them along and leave one of your own! Cache is accessible day or night, but please recall that it IS located somewhat near the local police station, so poking around at odd hours might not be advisable. May be best to approach from the parking lot to the north of GZ.
