Bramshot Farm Country Park is a lovely and thoughtfully designed greenspace. A choice of trails allows you to stick to dry land on the ‘Leaping Hare Loop’ in damper weather, a path that’s great for buggies, running, or just keeping your feet dry. Along the route you’ll find charmingly carved benches and picnic tables, it’s well worth a visit just to admire the artwork and carpentry skills! Look out for the community orchard too and the sign that tells you about the varieties that’ve been planted.
If you’re looking for a slightly longer walk, the aptly named ‘Old Oak Way’ takes you on mown paths, boardwalks and across viewing platforms, passing some of Bramshot Farm’s most stately oak trees. Parking is at the published co-ords where there is a large free car park, and the Park is closed overnight from 9pm to 6am.
