The half litre container cache is just outside a small cave which was once lived in by Harry Greenwood (aka Harry the tramp) in the 1970's and 1980's. It is accessible by parking in the car park at Robin Hood and walking a few hundred yards along the narrow pavement towards Baslow. Keep children and dogs safe on the narrow pavement. The carpark is free to National Trust/ RSPB members but otherwise £3.50 unless you use the nearby pub car park and buy food or drink. DO NOT PARK ON THE ROAD it is busy and dangerous.
Please respect the site as it now appears to be a sort of memorial.
The carpark is a useful starting point for other geocaches such as Rock Art and Birchen Edge (virtual)
