The cache has been transferred to a small micro. When you get to the top, look inside the dead branch for a silver bison. The terrain is rocky and brushy and you will have to do some climbing around to negotiate the area.
First off, thank you to Joe Smith for adopting this cache from 2004 to present. Had a period where I didn't spend much time online and the cache was put up due to my inactivity. Joe has done a bang-up job keeping up the page while I tried to visit the physical location and maintain it from time to time. Another mention is that Joe is also the listed FTF on this one one week after I hid it way back in '02. So when you're all bummed out about your GPS bouncing around, keep in mind Joe and some of the others, nailed it before they even fixed Selective Availability thing. (You young'uns might hafta look that up. LOL) Anyway, I'm very glad to have it back in my listings.
I remember my excitement the day I placed this cache. This place has been one of my favorite local places to visit since I was in my teens. I was 30 when I placed this one and still get nostalgic when I go out there. I'm glad to get to share it with all of you. 500 ft. from car to cache
