Kotesashi Park was opened on Children's Day, May 5, 1977.
The park exhibits a D51 steam locomotive, known as "Degoichi," which was built in 1938 and continued to run in Hokkaido, and is still popularly known as "SL Park".

You can enter the cab of the steam locomotive from 10:00 to 16:00 except on Wednesdays.

小手指公園は、昭和52年の5月5日こどもの日に開園しました。
この公園には、昭和13年に製造され、北海道を走り続けたD51蒸気機関車、通称デゴイチが展示され、現在も「SL公園」として親しまれています。

蒸気機関車の運転席には、水曜日以外の 10:00〜16:00 に入ることができます。
