Dreams Vs. Reality
The World speaks of "Dreamers" as those who help shape our future. At least the "one's" (1's) who through their efforts, achieved some measure of Greatness in discovery, imagination, and/or taking Action in bringing Dreams to Reality! They are the Davinci's, Mozart's, & Einstein's of the World.
But, I ask you this: "Is Shakespeare any greater than Burroughs?" Is Eistein better than Edison? Are the terms "better" or "greater" appropriate terms to weigh the value of these inspirational beings? What of the Curries?, Franklin?, and Tesla? Perhaps, NOT in the tangible, but rather in the mind we can find the answer!?
So, do we turn to the Freud's notion that 'behavior is influenced by unconscious memories, thoughts, and urges'? This sounds amazingly logical and simplistic. Is ALL consciousness governed by our "id, & ego", and "super-ego"? He explains it as such: "The ego prevents us from acting on our basic urges (created by the id) but also works to achieve a balance with our moral and idealistic standards (created by the superego). 2 While the ego operates in both the preconscious and conscious, its strong ties to the id means that it also operates in the unconscious."
This sounds like he was dreaming this up as he went along... But, is it now today a "Reality"? What of the contributions from the remainder of Legendary thinkers & doers mentioned? Does E=mc2 have a greater baises than the "Mona Lisa"? I know apples to oranges, like physics to art.
