Ed2Ed: Time to let this one go. It's a real shame as it took a lot of work to build this gadget cache and many people enjoyed it. Oh well.....

Geocache Description:

IMPORTANT: You will need to bring four AA batteries to operate this gadget cache.

Any serious cacher will know that geocaching is not a trivial pursuit.  It takes hours of planning to get the perfect route to optimise the most finds on a day trip.  Long winter evenings spent solving fiendish puzzles in readiness for the longer days of spring and summer when the geo-art or the power trail can be turned to smilies.  And for some, hours of painstaking crafting of wood or cryptic puzzles to make the perfect hide for their fellow cachers.  Far from a trivial pastime!

This cache celebrates the people, places and objects that have come together to make the hobby we love such a compelling game.  Based on the ubiquitous 80s family board game, this field puzzle will test your knowledge of geocaching trivia in order to get your hands on the log book.

So, do you know your Jasmer from your Fizzy, your Podcacher from your Cache-a-Maniacs and your Dave Ulmer from your Jeremy Irish?  Can you tell a pathtag from a geocoin?  Have you heard of PinPoint or the Geocaching Vlogger?  And not forgetting the wealth of abbreviations and acronymns: LPC, ICT, MTT, GPS, BOT, TFTC and TNLNSL to name but a few.

There is ample parking on the main road in a layby, but please be careful with animals and children as you walk along the wide grass verge to the trail head as the road is fast and busy.

Please remember to bring four AA batteries with you to operate the cache.
Please be gentle with the cache and force nothing.
Please replace everything as found so the next cacher can enjoy the cache as it is intended to be experienced.
Please report any problems to the cache owner through the geocaching Message Center feature.
