This CITO is dedicated to the memory of MsAAH and the work she always put into her CITO's.
Why: To help clean up the American River Parkway
When :April 22nd
Time: 9am to 10
I will supply, gloves, and trash bags. There will be a waiver to sign.
As of right now I'm waiting to see if we get free passes for the day, if so it will be a first come, first receive. I will update when I get word.
If you find any larger items like tires etc, please put as close to the road/trail as you can so it will be seen by the rangers, also once done, please take note or a picture what you were able to find as it all get's logged, any trash bags just put in the trash can's and don't just leave them somewhere.
As always be careful of your surroundings, there may be some homeless camps, do not disturb them.
Watch out for snakes, and the usual hazards, dress sensibly.
Dogs are allowed, but must be kept on their leash..
You will get a FTF for attending, I will have a logbook.
I would like to get a group picture, before everyone goes on their way.
I was told there seems to be more trash by the water left from the fishermen.
