Eagle Rock Reservation, West Orange, NJ - In the west-central region.
A camoed, double container, containing a pencil, command log and worthless odds and ends. Along a ridge that is purported by americasroof.com to be the highest point of elevation in Essex County, that information is inaccurate. Although it is close to being the county highpoint, there is no outlandish climbing to be done here. You can keep to the trails until the last 15 or so feet, and even then, there’ll be no bushwhacking. This area is sometimes referred to as Stony Hill and there are several large deer beds close by. The cache MUST BE returned to where it was found. It is far too often not replaced correctly and left open to the elements.
