Welcome to SGL 42, just outside of Laughlintown, PA. Right off of Route 30, turn at Nature Run Rd. The drive to parking is beautiful in itself! Parking for this cache is at an active SGL Shooting Range (see Parking coordinates). Park and head towards the right hand side of the range, to the gated SGL road. Now follow your gps! The walk to GZ is approximately 0.3 miles. This cache was inspired by the amazing location (and cache), Bang - Bang, GC5QJPN. FIND THIS CACHE, if you haven't already!
BE SURE TO WEAR YOUR ORANGE as this is SGL. BE AWARE, the shooting range is well-used. This is a public Pennsylvania Game Commission firing range. You may hear lots of loud shooting, at least until you reach Mill Creek, and then you should (hopefully) hear the peaceful sound of the creek.
As you walk the area, notice how all of the rocks are mossy and green. I love this! It adds color even in the greys and browns of winter. This cache is hidden on the way to Mill Creek, in a group of large (green) rock formations. It is a little off trail, so there may be jaggars and extra vegetation to deal with some of the year.
