A short distance from an easy track, near Pauanui in the Coromandel.
This cache is easy, a good first cache for someone getting into the sport. Can be found without a GPS using the hints.
The GPS Co-ordinates will take you onto the Ocean view loop track at the south end of Pauanui Beach, park near the toilets.
The cache is partially covered and is semi-concealed. 7m Accuracy on the GPS when placed, however users with eTrex's etc might have trouble getting a lock, the signals are rather low under the foliage.
The cache is a 1.25 litre Plastic Barrell painted Camoflage style. Intitial contents were:
