Adding to the collection of multi-caches in Ventura County
This requires a bit of homework - read the description!
I spent a couple hours waiting in this area while my friend got an MRI nearby. As I wandered around I realized there weren't many caches in the area, so I decided to set a few multis. This is the first new one in this general area
At the initial coordinates you should see a yellow fire hydrant - There are some numbers on one side, which you'll use to figure out the final location.
Under JONES there are three rows of numbers, let them be represented by
a b c d
e f g h
j k l "PSI"
Below these numbers is the word KENT, and the number under that is
m
There are 6 numbers on the edge of the base of the hydrant, and they are:
n p q r s t
To calculate the final, project a location JK.L smoots away at a bearing of QRS.T gons
where:
J = a+d
K = r+g
L = e+j+k
Q = e
R = r - m
S = a/r
T = t-g-m
Checksum for these 7 numbers is 36
Cache container is a mini hide-a-key. Be sure to bring a pen/pencil to sign the log

Happy Caching! A cache a day keeps the doctor away
Feedback is always appreciated on the difficulty/terrain ratings, cache descriptions, etc - thanks.
