Congrats to Flagg2007 on FTF!
Below are some tips to help you in your quest for this geocache. I suggest you read them as there are no spoilers, but they will be extremely helpful. The second section of the description is a funny story about this geocache, but it will contain some spoilers, so if you don't want that then save it for after you find it.
- Wear unrestrictive clothing. This geocache will be easiest to attain if you are not wearing restrictive clothing, so don't show up in a suit and tie.
- It may not be a bad idea to bring a helmet and/or other safety gear
- You may want to bring tweezers to assist you in removing the log.
- DO NOT remove the cache from where it is. You may remove the log to sign it, but do not remove the actual container. It is fastened in its current position, and it's a pain to place it back.
- Bring your own pen/pencil.

I have tried placing a geocache of this exact nature before, but it had a hard time not getting stolen. If the title of the cache doesn't give you any clue to how it's placed, my idea had been to make this cache hard to get to but not hard to actually spot. I didn't think this would become a problem since most of us wouldn't dare climb a tree just to "see what that thing is". However, what I didn't consider is that this principle does not apply to children. Given that this area is frequently trafficked by children, this geocache did not have a very good life. It went through many iterations of frequently being stolen. I kept ramping up the security until finally the last iteration had seen the cache secured to the tree with 4 sets of thick metal chains and two bike locks to which I kept the keys. This, of course, did not take the kids very long to steal. It is truly a marvel of this world, the power of little children who have nothing better to do, but I digress.
My only option was to reboot the cache but this time make it concealed, so that is what has been done. Good luck!
