Where in the World is...
Carmen Sandiego! Yes, the titular game everyone played in the late 80's where she would visit spectacular venues all over the globe and left clues for the players to find her (sounds like a personal geocaching hunt of sorts........)
After that there were many other iterations from publishers who cottoned on to Carmen and created offshoots with similar themes, like a guy in a red striped white shirt (or was it a white striped red shirt...) that would use his magic STICK to travel to far-away imaginary places and hide in the most ridiculous surroundings where you need to find him. And his stick. And his dog. Who cares... Did they try to hide him is a Waldorf Sandwich once? Or he stayed in the Waldorf Astoria in NY once? Can't remember....
I spotted this location with its red and white stripes and thought it an apt placing although the stripes on the sign are not as horizontal as the shirt, unless the off-kilter sign is sign itself of unkilterness
