March CITO time at Pype Hayes Park in CITO Season!

It's CITO Season so if this is your first CITO of the season you'll be earning a geocaching souvenir for attending too!
Relaxed & friendly cito event! Meet at the co-ords which will take you to the the Pype Hayes Park footpath sign near the car park - another early start of 9am for an hour or so of litter picking.
I will bring a roll of bags (roughly carrier bag size, you're welcome to bring larger ones if you prefer) - please bring your own litter pickers & gloves.
There will be a log book and I'll bring the container for anyone who wishes to drop off or pick up TB's.
We can wonder around as a group (this was nice on the previous Cito's) or you're welcome to split off on your own if you prefer.
There are lots of caches in Pype Hayes so you are of course welcome to do these while we cito! We will more than likely walk the route of the caches for those who wish to do them.
If you find something extra unusual/cool/weird etc let me know so I can feature it as our "best find" (see bottom of the cache page)
After the hour-ish (the last two events have lasted longer due to enjoying the walk and company) we can meet back at GZ to dispose of the litter picked - returning to GZ is not compulsory! But obviously if you don't return to GZ please dispose of any litter picked responsibly!
There are quite a lot of bins near GZ (at the time of publishing) and also around Pype Hayes Park but if for some reason they're not there or they are full then I will take any litter collected home with me to dispose of - Sunday is bin day anyway!
This month we can trial something new - when we return to the car I will have a container in the boot of the car for any metal, cans etc. I work in the recycling industry and my boss who loves helping the environment too has kindly said I can take all of these to work and put them in our metal recycling to help the environment that little bit more! I'll take a separate bag around with us to chuck any cans in along the way but you're also welcome to chuck them in at the car too and if you don't want to separate them, dont have time, picked up something yukky in the same bag as a can, then thats fine too, its entirely up to you
Obvious but needs to be said - you are responsible for your own safety! The ground at Pype Hayes is quite decent with parts of it having good paths too but still mind your step just in case. Do not pick up anything which may cause harm! We hope there won't be anything more than normal litter, but please don't risk it if it looks dodgy! I work in H&S, I'm first aid trained and will have hand sanitiser & plasters in my bag just in case but hopefully they wont be needed.
Geopooches welcome with open paws! Please remember to pick up after them though! I will also have a spare roll or two of geopooch bags should anyone forget theirs!
Parking is right next to the meeting point - car park entrance co-ords in waypoints
See you there!
